Progress Report

Guys, I’m still working on the bears. I’m rereading before the big finale to make sure I know where all my threads are before tying them together. I know this one has taken me longer than usual, and I can only partly blame it on the ridiculous length.

A large part of the delay was summer. I’m my worst in summer. The heat drains me, the sun gives me migraines, my allergies are terrible, and my mood tanks. Summer is my Seasonal Affective Disorder season.

But it’s almost fall now. The sun won’t be so brutal anymore. Crisp fall temperatures are on the way. It’s almost blanket/sweater weather. Autumn is when I thrive.

I’ve already felt creativity returning. I’ve been cranking out journal layout pages, crocheting a new shanket (shawl blanket – long story), and I’m itching to color with my colored pencils. And yes, I want to write. I want to FINISH.

So I’m asking for some grace. I usually publish 5 books per year, but this year, I’ve only done one. This one has consumed my life for months. I cannot WAIT to present it to you, but only when it’s right. Only when it’s polished and perfect.

Soon, friends. Very soon.
