Lorekeeper

Lorekeeper

Kanna Danley's business is books, but business isn't exactly thriving. The occult book store she inherited from her grandfather hasn't turned a profit in years. If she doesn't do something soon, she'll lose the shop and her grandfather's legacy.

However, a dead body crashing through her front door isn't exactly what she had in mind.

When the Diplomat, a notorious assassin, steps out of the shadows to inform her that the dead body in her doorway is evidence of death magic, the work of the dreaded Chaos Mage, Kanna's options suddenly dwindle to two. One, she can stay and wait for the police, who don't believe in magic and can't protect her from it. Two, she can escape with the Diplomat and hunt down the Chaos Mage in hopes of saving her life, if not her shop.

Kanna knows magic is real. She's survived it once already. There's really only one choice.

Pitchforked out of her comfortable, safe shop and into an underworld of witches and sorcerers, charms and curses, Kanna must learn to wheel and deal with the magical community while figuring out why the Diplomat keeps introducing her as the Lorekeeper. The answer will leave her wondering if everything she knows about herself is a lie.
